NEW · STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE LAYER
Add a strategic board to every cyber decision.

WHAT IT IS
The voices a real board would bring to the room.
Cyber decisions don't fail because the specialists got the technical answer wrong. They fail because the answer never got tested against the questions a board actually asks — about risk appetite, capital efficiency, regulator optics, brand trust, and execution realism.
The FORTE/CYBERx Board of Directors layer puts those voices in the room. Six archetypes drawn from real boardroom dynamics — each with a distinct mandate, a signature line of questioning, and an opinion. Pick three. Nominate one as Chair. Run your mission.
The Architect synthesises both layers — specialist advisors and board archetypes — into three strategic options that are simultaneously technically defensible and board-ready.

HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. Sixty seconds.
STEP 01
Pick 3 board archetypes
Choose from the six archetypes below — each represents a different boardroom voice. Match them to the decision you are about to make.
STEP 02
Nominate a Chair
One of your three picks is your Chair. Their mandate carries 1.5× weighting in the synthesis, letting you steer the posture of the answer.
STEP 03
Run your mission
The Board contributes alongside your 7 specialist advisors. The Architect synthesises both layers into 3 strategic options with a board-ready recommendation.
About the Chair (1.5× weighting)
Nominating a Chair lets you steer the strategic posture of the answer. A Chair of Risk produces a more risk-tolerance-aware recommendation; an Investor Chair tilts toward ROI and capital efficiency; a Regulator's Friend Chair sharpens audit-defensibility.
QUESTIONS
FAQ
What is the Board of Directors layer?
It is an optional strategic governance layer that sits above the 7-specialist advisor council. You pick 3 board archetypes and nominate one as Chair (1.5× voice weighting in The Architect's synthesis). The Board brings board-level scrutiny — risk appetite, capital efficiency, regulator optics, customer trust — to every cyber decision.
How is the Board different from the advisor council?
The 7 advisors give you specialist depth (compliance, threat, technology, finance, etc.). The Board gives you governance breadth — the questions a real ASX board would ask. Together they produce a decision that is both technically defensible and board-ready.
Why does the Chair carry 1.5× weighting?
Real boards have a chair whose voice carries disproportionate weight in shaping the room. The Architect mirrors that — the Chair's mandate shapes the recommendation more strongly than the other two members, so you can steer the strategic posture of the answer (risk-first, ROI-first, regulator-first, etc.).
Does using the Board cost extra credits?
No. The Board layer is included in every mission credit. Pick 3 archetypes, nominate a Chair, and run your mission as normal.
Can I change the Board between missions?
Yes. Every mission lets you choose a fresh board to match the decision in front of you. A vendor consolidation decision might need The Investor as Chair; a regulator notification might call for The Regulator's Friend.
Run your first mission free.
Two free missions. No credit card. Average mission resolves in under 60 seconds.
